Slot Missions in Hogwarts
Slot missions can be a great method to acquire weapons, gear, and more. But they're also difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot lets the player to bring pistols into a mission. Some people use it to help them attain certain goals, particularly those who aim for Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the additional pistol to make an extra weapon to close the gap. It's important to note that to select the pistols in this slot, click on the button for the appropriate category, such as machine guns in the alternate slot. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it simpler. This combo also gives you an attack tick from the Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as you have it slotted.
Slot for items that are smuggled
The smuggled item slot an excellent feature that allows players to bring in weapons and tools, but it could benefit from a more streamlined option. It's currently shaped like a pistol which makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other gear slots.
The smuggle slot can hold a large variety of items, from subtle concussion devices, to weapons-grade explosives. These items are covertly stashed in inconspicuous places around the map and can be retrieved at any time. Rain Bet are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small objects hidden in the scenery and objects.
Mission planning is an option in missions that are episodic. It lets players unlock different starting locations, smuggled objects, and gear slots before they enter the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This allows players the ability to create the perfect mission for each challenge.
Gear Slot
The gear slots will quickly get full early in the game, resulting in the common message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message prevents Max to pick new equipment until the old ones are removed or a larger space has been accumulated. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They provide an increase in inventory space to complete challenging missions. However, since many of these challenges are scattered across the globe and are easily overlooked, it may take an extended time to obtain the largest amount of inventory slots that are available in the game.
The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to five different types of gear. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.
Pickups by agencies
As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to keep items that aren't suitable in your weapon or gear slot. You can retrieve them later.
These pickups can be very useful in situations where your job requires you to go through a frisk or if you carry a weapon with you that might otherwise raise suspicion. You can only conceal one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.
This DLC also includes new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and other items. Once you've reached the mission marker be sure to identify a group upon arrival.
